About Me

My name is Ms. Kristina Solheim.  I will be teaching MS PE and HS Spanish this year.  This is my 3rd year teaching at ISE and I enjoy it very much.  I have a Masters Degree in Spanish and a Teachers Certificate in Spanish, P.E. and ESL.  I have been teaching school for 30 years.  I started teaching Spanish in private schools for 4 years in the US.  Then I went overseas and I taught in Greece, Nicaragua, Thailand (ISB Bangkok), Cyprus, Venezuela and Qatar before moving here.  I have a daughter, Krysia, who is a senior at the Univ. of Arizona studying Environmental Science.  She has taught me a lot about helping to keep the planet alive.  I love sports and in my free time I swim, hike, windsurf, bicycle, horseback ride and jog.  I also enjoy travelling and reading.
